is a 14 HP TWIN II I/C engine any good ?

i have a riding mower that ran and cut great until the starter solenoid melted on it, so i parked it and havent touched it since, it was a strong runner and good shape

its a 14 horse twin ii idustrial commercial engine

i figured it has to be worth something to someone somewhere and ive been trying to find out if it something that racers or anyone like or not

before i take it to the shredder and totally waste it which i hate to do cuz i think it would be a shame to waste really perfetly good strong running engine/mower like this

any ideas ?

what would you do ? what should i do ?

Go over to the ARC racing forum at http://www.heymow.com/index.php and post it there see if anyone there isa interested before scraping it out.
