id like to keep the build within the 400 dollar range if possible.

any chassis will work, most parts are universal and building a racemower does sometimes require a bit of imagination and fabricating skills. Hard toi build a good race mower now days for 400.00. What class were you thinking about building for. _________________ George Herrin BP#6

well i wasnt really planning on running a class, i was just wanting a fun project to work on, something to cruise around my tiny town on, hoping to hit 25-30 mph.
i can get all the fabricating done by one of my buddies, but my big concern was the 7 speed trans. i have seen ppl with 3 4 5 speed builds but i havent seen any with 7 speeds, will it still hold up ok? |
